To learn how to skate at an advanced level, you need the:
Skating Module
"A training module uniquely designed for adult, recreational skaters"
What's included in the Module?
The Skating Module consists of three inline skating lessons, namely, For Beginners Only, Intermediate
Trail Skating, and Advanced Trail Skating.
For Beginners Only is the first lesson in the three-part skating
series. Four basic maneuvers are covered in this introductory lesson.
First, the beginner learns how to establish the proper
stance for inline skating, which is dubbed the Staggered Stance.
Second, we delve deeply into one of the most
important maneuvers of all, the Heel Stop.
Next, the best way to Turn on inline skates is covered including proper
edging and weight distribution.
Finally, we put it all together with the Striding and Gliding procedure, which shows
the novice skater how to skate with smooth, efficient movements.
Intermediate Trail Skating is the second lesson in the
module. This intermediate lesson consists of four maneuvers.
First, we review the Staggered Stance to ensure you have the
proper posture, balance, and stability for trail skating.
Second, we take the heel stop to the next level by introducing
the Pump the Brake maneuver.
Next, the Mid-Radius Parallel Turn is covered since the tight turn is one of the best ways
to control your speed.
Finally, we introduce the Longer Stride and Glide, which has been modified for trail skating
so you can skate efficiently and conserve energy over longer distances.
Advanced Trail Skating is the
third and final lesson of the series. Five maneuvers are covered in this advanced lesson.
First, we introduce a new method for stopping,
dubbed the T-stop.
Second, we look at the Crossover, which can be used for turning on wide,
sweeping curves and bends in the trail.
Third, a maneuver for speed control on steeper hills is covered,
namely, the Short-Radius Parallel Turn.
Next, we present a second way to enhance your fitness from trail skating
called Sprinting.
Finally, we've added a maneuver called the Speed Skater's Stride and Glide,
so you know how to conserve your energy on those long trails that never seem to end. This technique can also be used
to impart an element of style and rhythm to your skating.
Price and Guarantee
The module is priced at $29.95 USD and comes with a 30-day money-back gurantee. If you
don't learn how to stop effectively by pumping the brake ... if you can't do parallel turns after a few sessions
... and if your ability to make advanced strides and glides doesn't start to improve ... simply return the module
within the above time period and we'll refund your complete purchase price with no questions asked.

The Benefits of our Inline Skating Lessons
Our rollerblading lessons are designed to help adult, recreational skaters
become advanced, trail skaters. Consider the situations below and the benefits will become apparent:
Perhaps you've said to yourself in the past, "I tried inline skating before, but I always felt out of balance on skates!"
The first lesson shows you right from the start how to establish the proper stance and
balance for inline skating. The Staggered Stance is used to keep you centered over your skates and
is the home position you can always return to, if and when you do go out of balance, even slightly.
Maybe you've said to yourself on occasion, "I'd like to try rollerblading, but I'm afraid I
wouldn't be able to stop. I don't want to crash and burn!"
For Beginners Only is set up so you can move directly from the staggerd stance to the Heel Stop
without a lot of additional effort or new knowledge on your part. You apply the drills and
practice the heel stop until you learn to stop quickly and effectively before moving on to the next maneuver.
You've probably thought to yourself, "How do those people turn so well on inline skates?"
You'll employ a technique named Parallel Turning, which is borrowed from downhill skiing, to make linked turns
to your left and right. With the parallel turn your movements around obstacles such as pylons will become
smooth and fluid.
Have you ever said to yourself, "Sometimes, I'm afraid I just won't be able to stop fast enough!"
Enter the Pump the Brake maneuver from the Intermedate Trail Skating lesson.
With this procedure, you'll be able to do the heel stop several times in succession to bring yourself to
a complete stop in a hurry!
Have you ever asked yourself, "I wonder if I'll get real tired if I try to skate
on a longer trail?"
There is no need to be concerned about getting fatigued on long trails. From the Intermediate
Trail Skating lesson we've got the Longer Stride and Glide maneuver, which will help to you
skate more efficiently and conserve energy over longer distances.
I bet you've asked yourself when watching advanced skaters, "How do they keep
such a good rhythm when they stride from side-to-side?"
The Speed Skater's Stride and Glide technique from the Advanced Trail Skating lesson
is used to impart an element of style and rhythm to your skating. After you master this maneuver, you'll be
able to move rhythmically from side-to-side, skate at faster speeds, and roll more efficiently.
The additional benefit is that you can also use this method to conserve energy on those long trails
that never seem to end.
Perhaps you've asked yourself several times in the past, "What am I going
to do if I have to skate down a steep hill? I can't always bail out!
Wide-radius and mid-radius parallel turns were introduced in the
first two lessons, respectively. But to control your speed on steeper hills we've taken it to the next
level in the Advanced Trail Skating lesson and introduced the Short-Radius Parallel Turn. When this turn
is properly applied, it can be used to maintain a near constant speed
on any hill, no matter how steep the slope. You'll never need to bail out again.
